Hospice care is aimed at relieving suffering and improving the quality of living and dying for those diagnosed with terminal illness. Hospice care is not designed to hasten death, but rather to help patients live the remainder of their lives as fully as possible. The Lisaard House Charity is proud to provide quality end-of-life palliative care for residents at two locations. Lisaard House, a six-bed residential cancer hospice located in Cambridge, and Innisfree House, a 10-bed residential hospice open to individuals facing any end-of-life diagnosis. Both homes welcome residents free of charge into a home-like setting, offering support not only to the resident but also their family. We believe that people have the right to die with dignity, free from pain, surrounded by their loved ones, in a setting of their choice. Our dedicated staff strive to make moments matter for all of our residents and their families.
