To advocate for and deliver practical and meaningful programs that empower guests to improve their lives.
The Chalmers Community Services Centre (CCSC) was established in 1997. Food, clothing, diapers, small household items, mending, support and referral are offered at no cost to the recipient in need. We strive to serve all without prejudice; all are welcome.
CCSC serves all in need without asking for any proof of need. It allows guests to make their own food choices based on dietary and religious restrictions, and personal taste, and also gives the opportunity for volunteers to serve guests which creates a familiar, welcoming space, and a sense of community.
CCSC is temporarily operating 3 food pantries from its location at 577 Willow Road, Guelph, in a portable behind Three Willow United Church. Pantry times are Wednesday 7-8pm, Thursday 10am-12pm, and Friday 10am-12pm.
- $25 buys one full grocery basket for one individual

Pre-authorized Remittance (PAR) is available for those wishing to make financial donations, or donors may contact the office to financially donate or volunteer. CCSC also accepts dental products for dental days, and operates a Christmas Gift Bag program from October to December, which offers new toiletries and treats for guests (please call for the list). The micro-finance program accepts financial donations.
